South Windsor Man Who 'Wanted to Kill Cops' Strikes Officer, Gets Shot: Report

A South Windsor man, who allegedly said he was armed with a knife and wanted to kill cops, struck a Hartford police officer with his car and was then shot by the officer Wednesday night in Hartford, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports Christopher Reh, 28, was reported missing from his South Windsor home early Wednesday evening after he allegedly told his family that he had a knife and wanted to kill cops.
Hartford police located Reh on Park Street and attempted to make contact with him.

Reh, who Hartford police said has previously been suicidal and made threats against himself on Wednesday, allegedly rammed a police cruiser and struck a Hartford police officer and knocked him to the ground, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports the injured officer fired his gun at least four times and struck Reh twice.

Both Reh and the officer were listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries on Wednesday night, according to NBC.
