South Windsor Mayor To Run For State Senate
Mayor M. Saud Anwar has announced his candidacy for an open state senate position.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Mayor M. Saud Anwar has announced he will run for the state senate seat Sen. Tim Larson has vacated after he accepted a position in Gov. Ned Lamont's administration, the Courant reported.
A special election for the seat will be held Tuesday, Feb. 26.
The seat covers South Windsor, East Windsor, East Hartford, and Ellington.
