South Windsor Middle School Evacuated
A threatening phone call prompted evacuation of Timothy Edwards Middle School.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Timothy Edwards Middle School was evacuated Wednesday morning due to a threatening phone call.
Around 10 a.m., middle school staff received a brief call implying there was a bomb. Police do not believe the threat was credible, Deputy Chief Scott Custer said.
"Through an abundance of caution, the superintendent decided to evacuate," Custer said.

Middle school students were brought to the adjacent Orchard Hill School, and will be dismissed at noon. Orchard Hill students will dismiss at their normal time, Custer said.
