South Windsor Obituary: Diva Topper, 81

Diva C. Topper, 81, of South Windsor, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Bernard I. Topper.

Diva was born in Hartford on September 12, 1936 to the late Ciro and Guerrina (Giunti) Carboni.

She leaves a daughter, Janice Butterfield, of Vernon, and a son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Lisa Topper of Barre MA. She was blessed to have four precious grandchildren, Kellie and Sara Butterfield of Vernon and Jessica and Brodie Topper of Barre MA, of whom she was very proud. She was predeceased by two sisters, Delia Montanari and Enia Pierce, and three brothers, Elio, Nello, and Omero Carboni.

Her family will receive friends on Sunday, November 19, 2017, from 12 - 1 p.m., at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor, with a funeral service to begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Wapping Cemetery in South Windsor.
