South Windsor Obituary: Eileen Keane, 54

Condolences to her family and friends.

Our hearts are full of grief at the passing of Eileen (Kuehnel) Keane, of South Windsor, beloved daughter of Elizabeth "Betty" (Martin) Kuehnel and the late William E. "Bill" Kuehnel, on Saturday, November 12, 2016.

Born in Hartford on November 11, 1962, Eileen grew up in East Hartford, attended East Catholic High School and Southern Connecticut State University. She was a proud member of the German Club of East Windsor and an avid fan of the Kentucky Derby. Eileen enjoyed cooking and loved spending time at the beach.

A devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Eileen will be remembered as a caring person with a warm sense of humor. Even through difficult times, she always had a smile on her face and a heart bigger than life itself. Eileen will be sorely missed by all who knew her especially her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
