South Windsor Obituary: Joseph Adams, 89

Condolences to his family and friends.

Joseph H. Adams, 89, of Inverness, FL, formerly of South Windsor, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 10, 1927 in Canton, MA, son of the late John and Mary (Flynn) Adams. Joseph grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton High School with the Class of 1945. He went on to graduate from Northeastern University.

Joseph was married to the love of his life, Regina Baczek in 1948 and together they enjoyed over 68 years of marriage. He worked as a plant manager for Pfizer for many years. Joseph was an avid Boston sports fan and golfer. He had the opportunity to shoot 6 holes-in-one throughout his lifetime.

He enjoyed retirement and had the opportunity to spend winters in Inverness, FL. Joseph was a kind, caring, loving and devoted family man who will be greatly missed.

Along with his wife, Regina, he leaves his children, Joseph Adams and his wife Susan of Newington, Debra Adams of Inverness, FL, formerly of South Windsor, Caryl Fiasconaro and her husband Paul of Enfield and Janice Bennett and her husband Richard of Inverness, FL formerly of Hebron; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and his son-in-law, Charlie Seale of Lake Worth, FL. He was predeceased by his daughter, Mary Jo Seale and his 8 siblings.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, from 9 – 10:15 a.m., followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m., at St. Francis of Assisi Church in South Windsor. Burial will be private at the request of his family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, CT Chapter, 200 Executive Blvd, Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489-1058.
