
Laurel Gaile, 75, of South Windsor, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 while at Glastonbury Health Center.
Laurel was born in Lynn, Massachusetts to the late Louis and Lillian (Levine) Lipman. She raised her family in South Windsor and worked as a clerk with the United States Postal Service. Laurel was a free spirit who enjoyed traveling in her Mazda Miata, spending time at the beach and soaking up sunshine. She was an animal lover who loved dogs and horses. She cherished her grandkids and spending time with them.
Laurel is survived by her sons Michael J. Aceto and his wife Maura of Greenville, NC, Gregory J. Aceto and his wife Lauren of Natick, MA; her daughter Michele R. Lafar of Glastonbury; her grandchildren Shelby and Joseph Lafar, Anthony, Alexander, Jack, and Sofia Aceto; her nieces Linda, Joy, Debbie and Lisa and her nephew Scott Lipman. Aside from her parents she was predeceased by her brother Nelson Lipman; her sister Tommie Lipman and her loving companion Joseph R. Jandreau.

Calling hours are being held on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Road, South Windsor, from 11 am to 1 pm, with a service at the funeral home at 1 pm. Burial will be private at the request of her family.
In lieu of flowers donations in Laurel's memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association, CT Chapter, 200 Executive Boulevard, Ste 4B, Southington, CT 06489-1058.
