South Windsor Offers Help For Substance Abuse

Town opioid-settlement funds may help residents cover inpatient, outpatient and therapeutic services.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor residents who are receiving or seeking treatment for substance use disorder may be eligible for financial assistance through a town-supported program.

The funding, made possible through opioid settlement funds received by the town, can help cover inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment and therapeutic services, according to South Windsor’s Just One community opioid response initiative and Human Services Department.
