South Windsor Plaza Plan Jogging Through Regulatory Process
A plan to revive an older shopping center is making its way through the South Windsor approval process.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT โA plan to revive an aging shopping plaza on Sullivan Avenue now has a zone change and is ready for the next phase of the municipal regulatory process, South Windsor Town Manager Micheal Maniscalco said Wednesday.
Is currently acchored by one of the older versions of the Geissler's supermarket chain at the far right-hand side of the complex. At the opposite end is the former Hot Leathers store. A movie theater occupied the complex many years ago.
There is no timetable for either a site plan submission or a potential planning and zoning commission decision, Maniscalco said, citing coronavirus restrictions.

The plan is to refurbish the strip mall section with a new and improved version of Geissler's being built, he said. Five apartent buildings are part of the plan, he added.
