South Windsor Police Announce Promotions, Awards

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — On Dec. 4, Chief Scott Custer and Deputy Chief Kristian

Lindstrom, along with town manager Michael Maniscalco, hosted members of the
South Windsor Police Department at town hall to celebrate promotions from the
previous calendar year, and awards and commendations earned by staff dating back to the
last awards ceremony.

PROMOTIONS

• Lieutenant Brian Eckblom: Lieutenant Eckblom is a 15-year member of the department and has served as a Traffic Investigator/Reconstructionist, School Resource Officer, and Youth and Victim Service Coordinator. He is currently assigned as the Commander of the Special Services Division.
• Sergeant Mark Cleverdon: Sergeant Cleverdon is a 12-year member of the department and has served as a Criminal Investigator, Narcotics Officer, and Field Training Officer. He is currently assigned as the Public Information Officer, Training Coordinator, and Field Training Coordinator.
• Sergeant Mark Halibozek: Sergeant Halibozek is a 12-year member of the department and has served as a Traffic Investigator/Reconstructionist, Narcotics Investigator, and SWAT Team member. He is currently assigned as the Evening Shift Watch Commander.
• Sergeant Charles Bowes: Corporal Bowes is a 15-year member of the department. He has served as a School Resource Officer and Field Training Officer. He is currently working as our Accreditation Manager as we seek national accreditation through CALEA; the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement.
• Sergeant Ronald Littell: Sergeant Littell is a 21-year member of the department. He has served as a Canine Handler and Narcotics Investigator. He is currently assigned as the Midnight Shift Watch Commander.
• Corporal David Gesualdi: Corporal Gesualdi is a 17-year member of the department and has served as a Criminal Investigator, Narcotics Investigator, Use of Force Instructor, Field Training Officer, and Special Enforcement Unit member.
