South Windsor Police Arrest Man in Connection with Robbery

John Papin, 32, of Wethersfield, was arrested on a warrant Monday.

South Windsor police have arrested a Wethersfield man in connection with a September robbery of an Oakland Road convenience store.

John Papin, 32, of 24 Wolcott Hill Rd., was arrested on a warrant Monday. He was charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. Papin was held on a $200,000 surety bond and was arraigned at Manchester Superior Court later Monday morning.

Police said Papin’s charges stem from his involvement in a Sept. 30 robbery at an Oakland Road convenience store. Investigators worked with detectives from other towns and identified Papin, later obtaining an arrest warrant for him, according to police.
