South Windsor Police Arrest Man On Sexual Assault Charges
The man has been charged in connection with repeated sexual assaults of a teenage girl over a period of several months.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A Massachusetts man turned himself in at South Windsor police headquarters Friday morning after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of sexually assaulting a teenage girl on multiple occasions.
Michael I. Luciano, 20, of Springfield, was charged with five counts each of second-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact with a victim under age 16, as well as risk of injury to a child. His bond was originally set at $75,000, but was reduced to $50,000 at his arraignment Friday in Manchester Superior Court. He remains in custody, according to judicial records.
The charges stem from a Sept. 2022 investigation in which it was determined that starting in Oct. 2021, Luciano met a 14-year-old girl online and had a physical relationship with her over the course of several months, police said.
