South Windsor Police Arrests Include Interfering with an Officer, Drug Charges
Recent arrests by the South Windsor Police Department.

The following information has been provided by the South Windsor Police Department and does not indicate convictions:
Breach of Peace/Interfering with an Officer:
On Thursday July 23, South Windsor Police officers were dispatched to a physical domestic problem at an Ivy Lane home. A juvenile male and an adult female had been involved in a dispute and neither was cooperative with the officers. Officers detained both parties and the woman attempted to pull an officer away from the juvenile male. Officers arrested the woman, Precious Torres, 20, of 113 Ivy Lane, South Windsor. She was charged with Breach of Peace and Interfering with an Officer. Torres was later released on a $2,000 surety bond and was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on July 24. The juvenile male was issued a summons to Juvenile Court at Rockville.

Issuing a Bad Check/Larceny in the Sixth degree:
On Monday, July 27, South Windsor Police arrested Peter Sohn, 40, of 8 Charing Road, South Windsor, on an arrest warrant. He was charged with Issuing a Bad Check and Larceny in the Sixth degree. Sohn was later released on a $1,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Aug. 6.

Evading Responsibility:
On Sunday, July 26, at about 1 a.m., South Windsor Police were dispatched to an evading responsibility accident on West Road. A vehicle struck a mailbox and fled the scene. Officers later located the vehicle that fled the scene on Main Street. Officers arrested the operator, Dillon Derosia, 22, of 921 Main St., South Windsor. He was charged with Evading Responsibility and Failure to Drive in Proper Lane. Derosia was later released on $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court Aug. 3.
Possession of a Controlled Substance/Poss. Of Drug Paraphernalia:
On Thursday, July 23, at about 2:30 a.m., a South Windsor Police officer stopped a vehicle on Buckland Road for a violation. During the roadside interview an officer saw a small baggie in plain view that contained a small amount of crack cocaine. The officers later found drug paraphernalia used to smoke crack cocaine. Officers arrested the man, Jeffrey Gilbert, 60, of 44 Mitchell Drive, East Hartford. He was charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Failure to Illuminate License Plate and Failure to Carry Driver’s License. Gilbert was held on $2,500 surety bond and was presented at Manchester Superior Court later on July 23.
Narcotics Violation:
On Wednesday, July 22, South Windsor Police officers stopped a vehicle on Buckland Road. During the field interview, officers learned that a vehicle occupant was in possession of marijuana. Officers arrested Willie Williams 3rd, 29, of 98 Russ St., Hartford. He was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell and Possession of Marijuana. He was processed and released on a non-surety bond. Williams was scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on July 30.
Failure to Appear in the Second degree:
On Wednesday, July 22, South Windsor Police arrested Rhonda Koromanian, 52, of 235 Main Street, East Hartford, on re-arrest warrants. She was charged with four counts of Failure to Appear in the Second degree. She was held on $500 surety bond and was presented at Manchester Superior Court later that morning.
