South Windsor Police Charge Man with DUI
The man was arrested following a motor vehicle stop.
South Windsor Police charged an Enfield man with DUI following a motor vehicle stop over the weekend.
Police stopped a vehicle at about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 on Sullivan Avenue for a violation. The officer suspected that the operator was under the influence of alcohol.
Following a series of roadside sobriety tests officers arrested the man, Christopher Desroches, 21, of 28 Celtic Court, Enfield. He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drinking while operating a motor vehicle.

Desroches was later released on a $500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on Sept. 28.
