South Windsor Police Charge Man with Kicking, Damaging Relative's Car

The man was arrested on a warrant for Monday's domestic incident.

South Windsor police have charged a town man with kicking and damaging a relative’s car during a domestic incident.

Daniel Epstein, 25, of 19 Brian Road in South Windsor, was arrested July 21 on a warrant. He was charged with breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief.

Police said the charges stem from a domestic incident that occurred Monday at his Brian Road home. Officers were informed that Epstein had argued with a relative and repeatedly kicked her car, causing marks and cracks.

The woman fled the scene to avoid harm and later gave a statement to police.

Police said Epstein couldn’t be located on Monday night and officers obtained an arrest warrant, which was served Tuesday.

Epstein was processed and held on a $5,000 surety bond. Epstein was scheduled to be presented at Manchester Superior Court on Wednesday morning.
