South Windsor Police: Man Drove More Than Double the Speed Limit, Ignored Officers' Orders to Stop
Police terminated the pursuit but later located the suspect.

A West Hartford man is accused of driving more than double the speed limit on a South Windsor road and then ignoring the officers’ attempts to stop the car early Saturday morning.
South Windsor police arrested Thomas Hadis, 22, of Northbrook Drive in West Hartford, on April 25 and charged him with reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer and speeding.
Police were conducting radar enforcement on Pleasant Valley Road and an officer saw a vehicle going 77 mph in a 30-mph zone around 2 a.m. on Saturday, South Windsor police said.

As officers attempted to stop the car, it sped up and officers terminated the pursuit. The officers later tracked the car and operator to a local address and arrested Hadis.
Hadis was released on a $10,000 surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Manchester Superior Court on May 4.
