South Windsor Police Officer Delivers Baby

Say hello to South Windsor's newest resident, brought to you by the police department.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - It's time to welcome South Windsor's newest resident, who entered the world a bit earlier than expected.

Police received a call Wednesday from a husband and wife expecting their second baby. The mother went into active labor at home and had made the call.

Police Officer Scott Madore arrived at the home minutes later and delivered a healthy baby girl. Police said Mom and baby were transported to an area hospital by ambulance and all are reported to be doing well.
