Foot Chase After 2:35 A.M. Crash In South Windsor
Officers responding around 2:35 a.m. found the crashed vehicle on Hilton Drive and began searching for the driver.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A 20-year-old man is facing multiple charges after police said he fled the scene of a rollover crash early Saturday morning and resisted officers who tried to take him into custody.
According to an email from the South Windsor Police Department, officers responded around 2:35 a.m. Saturday to Hilton Drive for a reported single-car motor vehicle accident. Police said the vehicle being driven by Vaughan K. Bizier, 20, of South Windsor, rolled over and was found on its side.
Authorities said Bizier fled the scene on foot following the crash. Officers located him a short distance away, and police said he refused commands to put his hands behind his back before being taken into custody.

Bizier was charged with operating under suspension, reckless driving, evading responsibility, failure to drive in the proper lane, and interfering with an officer/resisting.
He was processed and released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court on March 18 at 9 a.m., police said.
