South Windsor Road to be Closed Monday Morning as Part of Water Main Construction

There will be a temporary road closure on Nevers Road just south of Ayers Road on Monday, May 18 as part of the water main construction.

Police said the road will be closed at 8 a.m. and will be reopened to at least one lane no later than 1 p.m.

The contractor will also post a detour (Ayers to Sullivan to Sand Hill Rd). There will be utility work done in this area for several weeks in advance of a road reconstruction project so police said motorists may want to seek alternate routes.
