South Windsor Road Work Upcoming

There will be a public hearing on drainage improvements at the end of the month.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - The town is making plans to improve drainage on Ridge Road and Deming Street. The plan includes work on Ridge Road from Deming Street about 550 feet south, and on Deming Street from Ridge Road to Grandview Terrace.

According to a statement from the town, the improvements will include new catch basins, drainage pipes and repair or rehabilitation of the roads in the vicinity of the drainage work.

Most of the improvements will be done in the existing right-of-way. However, grading of the surrounding grass shoulders and repaving driveway entrances may extend onto the adjacent properties to blend them into the existing lawns and driveways with the property owner’s temporary permission.
