South Windsor State Aid Would be Cut $1.42 Million in Malloy Plan

South Windsor was slated to receive $14.3 million in fiscal year 2019; now, Malloy is asking legislature to give town $12.9 million.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.

Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.

For South Windsor , it would be a 10 percent cut from the previously approved $14.32 million total - to $12.9 million.
