South Windsor Stuff-a-Truck Raises Money For Needy Families

A recent holiday event raised money for needy families.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT -The South Windsor Police Department and other organizations raised $3225 in donations at its recent Stuff-a-Truck event. The event also brought in one coupon for a free turkey, 24 clothing items, 216 toys and 3200 food items.

Stuff-a-Truck benefits needy families via the town's food bank and Human Services department. Also involved in the event were the South Windsor Fire Department, ASM ambulance, Hartford Evergreen Lodge of Freemasons, American Legion Post #133 and Human Services .
