South Windsor Traffic Alert: Road Closures Announced for Hartford Marathon

Main Street in South Windsor will be closed to traffic on Saturday, Oct. 10, as participants run the Hartford Marathon, according to police.

The race participants will enter South Windsor from, and return to, East Hartford requiring road closures from approximately 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Main Street residents and King Street residents are asked to park on side streets (on the east side of Main Street), so they can access a vehicle if they need to leave while the marathon is in progress. Only emergency vehicles and Marathon participants/staff will be permitted on Main Street and King Street during the event.
