South Windsor To Trap, Kill Beavers At Nevers Park
The beavers are responsible for felling nearly 200 trees at the park.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Licensed trappers will use deadly traps to remove two or three beavers from Nevers Park this spring, according to the Journal-Inquirer. Town officials said the beavers have become hazardous as they have knocked down nearly 200 trees.
This leads to flooding and stagnant water that attracts mosquitoes.
Trapping and killing the beavers is used as a last resort when other options for getting the beavers to leave the park haven't worked. Read the full story in the Journal-Inquirer.
