South Windsor Vaults Into Top 5 of Boys Soccer Poll

The Bobcats have scored 32 goals in their first nine games, while allowing just nine.

E.O. Smith and Granby Memorial high schools maintained their positions atop the Connecticut boys soccer coaches polls. E.O. Smith (8-0) received nine of 11 first-place votes in Classes LL-L, while Granby (8-0-1) was deemed first on six of 10 ballots in Classes M-S.

South Windsor (8-1) leaped from 10th place into fourth in Classes LL-L in the most recent balloting.

Here are the top 10 for each division, plus all other schools receiving votes. Records are through Oct. 9.
