South Windsor Voters Should Submit Nov. 3 Absentee Ballots By Mail Or In Ballot Box In Front Of City Hall

Poll hours for those voting in person are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE NOVEMBER 3, 2020 ELECTION

The Secretary of the State will be mailing all eligible voters an absentee ballot application for the November 3, 2020 election by mid-September. If you wish to vote by absentee ballot please promptly complete the application (check the reason, sign and date) and mail it back to the Town of South Windsor in the provided envelope OR place it in the Official Ballot Box located in front of Town Hall.

If you prefer to download and print the application yourself, please click here to access the Connecticut Secretary of the State's website for an absentee ballot application. The application should be mailed to: Town Clerk of South Windsor, 1540 Sullivan Avenue, South Windsor, CT 06074 OR placed in the Official Ballot Box located in front of Town Hall.

NOTE: You must complete an application in order to receive a ballot.

Registered voters may request applications and vote using an absentee ballot for one of the following reasons (and for no other reason):

  • Absence from town during all the hours of voting
  • COVID-19 for November 3 Election
  • Illness or Physical Disability
  • Active Service in the armed service
  • Duties as an election official at a polling place
  • Religious tenets conflict on day of election

Ballots will be mailed starting on October 2nd to voters who have completed and returned an Absentee Ballot application.

Please note that if you choose not to vote by Absentee Ballot, voting at the polls will be available on November 3, 2020 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
