South Windsor Winter Sports Schedule Set to Begin: Each Team's Openers

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Since last week, winter teams have been practicing at South Windsor High School, and soon the regular season schedule will kick off.

Here are the scheduled official opening contests for each Warrior varsity squad.

• girls basketball - Tuesday, Dec. 13, Middletown at South Windsor, 6:45 p.m.
• girls ice hockey - Wednesday, Dec. 14, East Catholic/Glastonbury/South Windsor at Darien, 5:10 p.m.
• wrestling - Wednesday, Dec. 14, Bristol Eastern at South Windsor, 6 p.m.
• boys and girls indoor track - Saturday, Dec. 17, South Windsor at Hartford Public, 10 a.m.
• boys ice hockey - Saturday, Dec. 17, South Windsor at Simsbury, 5:30 p.m.
• boys swimming - Tuesday, Dec. 20, E.O. Smith/Tolland at South Windsor/Rockville, 3:45 p.m.
• boys basketball - Tuesday, Dec. 20, E.O. Smith at South Windsor, 6:45 p.m.
• girls gymnastics - Monday, Jan. 2, South Windsor/Ellington/Windsor Locks at Stonington, 10 a.m.
