Spring, Summer Signups Open Soon In South Windsor

Parks and Recreation is urging residents to prepare ahead before registration opens online.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — South Windsor Parks and Recreation is preparing to open resident registration for its spring and summer programs, with sign-ups beginning April 1 at 8 a.m.

The seasonal lineup includes swim lessons, sports leagues, youth and teen activities, adult fitness offerings and other recreation programs, according to the department.

Programs highlighted in this year’s registration include swim evaluation night, Doggy Dips, the SEALS swim team, Aqua Zumba, Intro to Diving and a water safety instructor course through Veterans Memorial Park. Other offerings include adult badminton open play, an adult cornhole league, co-ed pickleball, pickleball lessons, youth badminton training, track club, futsal street soccer, Bollywood Zumba, yoga and more.

Parks and Recreation is urging residents to prepare ahead of time before registration opens. The department recommends using a strong WiFi or mobile connection, avoiding page refreshes during the payment process, and joining a waitlist quickly if a program is already full.

Officials said participants may still be admitted from waitlists as spots become available.
