State Tournament Play to Open for South Windsor
Here's a look at the upcoming matchups for Bobcat soccer, field hockey and volleyball, as well as their state championship game history.
SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Cross country is over, swimming brackets will be announced later this week and football still has three games to go, but four other sports begin their state tournaments over the next three days, with all involving teams from South Windsor High School.
Listed in order of better seeds, here is the upcoming tournament schedule for Bobcat teams:
- field hockey (L): No. 9 Fairfield Ludlowe at No. 8 South Windsor, Wed., 11/8, 2 p.m.
- girls volleyball (LL): No. 21 Simsbury at No. 12 South Windsor, Mon., 11/6, 6 p.m.
- boys soccer (LL): No. 20 Norwalk at No. 13 South Windsor, Mon., 11/6, 2 p.m.
- girls soccer (LL): No. 24 South Windsor at No. 9 Shelton, Tues., 11/7, 4:30 p.m.
