Stolen Car Suspect Arrested in South Windsor
The Hartford teenager admitted to police he and a group of friends rifled through and stole cars in various towns.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police have made an arrest in connection with a stolen car taken from a South Windsor driveway in August.
Luis Rodriguez, 18, of 162 Bushnell St., Hartford, was charged Wednesday on an arrest warrant with conspiracy to commit third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and illegal use of a credit card.
He was held on $25,000 surety bond, and is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday in Manchester Superior Court.

In August, a South Windsor resident’s vehicle was stolen and the suspect used a credit card that was in the vehicle.
Detectives identified Rodriguez as the suspect, and he admitted to being part of a group of youths from Hartford that would drive around different towns going through unlocked cars looking for keys/key fobs so they could take the cars, Deputy Police Chief Scott Custer said.
