Castleton University, Castleton VT

• Amanda Brault of South Windsor graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in multidiscipinary studies from Castleton University following the successful completion of the spring semester in May 2022. Castleton celebrated the accomplishments of members of the Class of 2022 at its 235th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 14. This year marks the first in-person, university-wide commencement in three years.

Emmanuel College, Boston MA

• Emmanuel College celebrated its milestone 100th commencement on Saturday, May 14, 2022, on its campus in Boston, adding hundreds of graduates to the global network of Emmanuel alumni who are making their mark on the world. South Windsor students graduating included Katelyn Hunter, who received a Bachelor of Science in biology with a concentration in health sciences, and graduated cum laude and with distinction in the field of study. Charles King received a Bachelor of Arts in management with a concentration in sport management, and graduated summa cum laude and with distinction in the field of study. Melissa Tremblay received a Bachelor of Arts in writing, editing and publishing, and graduated cum laude.

Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta GA

• The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to more than 4,500 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 262nd Commencement exercises May 6-7, 2022, at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Among the graduates were South Windsor residents Robert Defelice, Master of Science in mechanical engineering, and Abhiram Tirumala, Bachelor of Science in computer science with highest honors.

Lehigh University, Bethlehem PA

• Sarah Mutchek of South Windsor graduated from Lehigh University in spring 2022. During commencement ceremonies in May 2022, Lehigh conferred 1,092 Bachelor's degrees, 394 Master's degrees and 33 Doctoral degrees.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester NY

• Ben Thompson of South Windsor was named to the Dean's List at Rochester Institute of Technology for the spring 2022 semester. Thompson is in the business administration-marketing program. Full-time degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

The student must not have any incompletes or missing grades in the designated term. The student must have a minimum semester grade average of 3.500 for the term.

University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa AL

• Madeline Fischer of South Windsor was named to the University of Alabama Dean's List for spring semester 2022. A total of 11,224 students were named to the dean's list with an academic record of 3.5 (or above).

University of Utah, Salt Lake City UT

• The University of Utah congratulates the more than 8,000 graduates who make up the Class of 2022 during an in-person commencement ceremony on May 5, 2022 after two years of virtual celebrations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Benett Saylor of South Windsor earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communication in spring 2022 with an emphasis in strategic communication.
