Suspect Arrested In South Windsor School Threatening Case
Police have arrested a juvenile suspect in a case of social media threatening.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT - Police have arrested a suspect involved in a case of threatening a high school student via social media.
"Our patrol officers worked overnight to determine the juvenile suspect did not have access to weapons and the threat was not credible," police said in a Facebook post. "Today, our detective division worked with the social media platform to determine where the post originated from. The investigators then worked with the courts to obtain an order to detain the juvenile suspect."
A male suspect was taken into custody and charged with first-degree threatening. He was then transported to a Hartford juvenile holding facility pending a court date next week.
