Suspect Charged in South Windsor Liquor Store Burglary
A man was charged this week for a springtime burglary.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police have charged a man for a springtime burglary at a local liquor store.
On Tuesday, South Windsor police officers arrested Angel Colon, 56, of 164 Madison St., Hartford, at Manchester Superior Court on a warrant.
Colon was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny, second-degree criminal mischief and conspiracy to commit burglary in the third degree, police said.

He was held at court on $250,000 surety bond and was arraigned later Tuesday morning, police said.
Colon’s charges stem from an April burglary at a Sullivan Avenue liquor store, police said.

Officers responding to an alarm found the front door had been smashed, according to a report. Surveillance footage showed suspects entering the store and stealing alcohol, cigarettes and cash, police said.
Investigators were able to link Colon to the crime and obtained an arrest warrant for him, police said.
