Suspect Sought In BLM Mural Defacing In South Windsor
Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect painting over the mural, and his vehicle entering the parking lot.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Police have released surveillance photos of a man, and his vehicle, seen defacing a Black Lives Matter mural painted in the town hall parking lot, as well as his vehicle entering the premises, and the public's help is sought in identifying the suspect.
Around 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 12, the man drove into the parking lot and began painting over the yellow lettering, which had been created on June 12 following approval from Mayor Andrew Paterna.
When the vandalism was discovered the next morning, the slogan "Blue Lives Matter" had been painted, as well as a profanity-laced message. Town employees covered the graffiti with black sealer Thursday morning.
