SW Man Charged After Domestic Incident: Police

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A local man was arrested by South Windsor police Monday in connection with a domestic violence victim being struck in the face twice with an open hand, police said.

According to a SWPD release issued Tuesday morning, 44-year-old Iman Shaik of South Windsor was arrested at 3:59 p.m. Monday regarding a domestic incident.

Police said the suspect is accused of striking a victim across the face with an open hand twice.

Shaik was given a misdemeanor summon and process and released on a written promise to appear in court, police said.

Shaik was expected to appear in court Tuesday.
