
Temple Beth Hillel invites the community to join them for Yom Kippur Services. Yom Kippur, is Wednesday October 9th. Yom Kippur is also known as the Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year in Judaism. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with an approximate 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. On this day, Jews ask God for forgiveness for their sins to secure their fate. Services are led by Rabbi Jeffrey Glickman and music by Cantor Scott Harris. After the final Yom Kippur service , stay for Break the Fast , A delicious dairy dinner will be served. Suggested donation of $10 per person is requested.
