The geographic area surveyed was Hartford and Tolland County. The time period used was January 1, 2013 through June 30, 2013.
The data included: 1) The total properties (units) sold by office (Some have multiple locations and those were combined); 2) The total dollar volume sold; 3) The average sale price of all properties sold; and, 4) The average units sold per agent that at closed at least 1 unit.
All information is raw data sourced directly from the CTMLS and is deemed reliable. Only firms based in the effective service area of the Patch sites used were included*.
*Not Included were Shea Real Estate (not in operation for the complete 6 month study) and Realty Executives (RE) as the average sales price criteria of $100,000 was not met. RE sold 36 units worth a total of $3,341,000 with an average sales price of $92,805 and the average units per agent was 12.
