Timothy Edwards Middle School Administrator Honored With State Award
Jarrid Clifton has been selected 2024 Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year by the Connecticut Association of Schools.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — An administrator at Timothy Edwards Middle School (TEMS) has been selected 2024 Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year by the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS).
Jarrid Clifton will be honored by CAS at a recognition dinner in the fall. He was also selected as Connecticut’s candidate for the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) National Assistant Principal of the Year Award. As the state designee, he will attend UNITED: The National Conference on School Leadership, from July 15-17, 2024 in Nashville, Tenn.
CAS solicits nominations for the Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year award each year. Clifton was nominated for the award, submitted a written application, and hosted an onsite visit at TEMS as part of the rigorous selection process. He was chosen for the award based on his "unwavering dedication, visionary leadership, and tireless commitment to the well-being and success of every member of his school community."
