The South Windsor Chamber of Commerce will host the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of Vermont Wild Goods on Thursday, September 12, 2013 from 5-6pm. Located at 101 Evergreen Way, Suite 105, South Windsor, CT, Vermont Wild Goods is owned and run by South Windsor resident Gina Valles and her family.
The store’s rustic feeling is warm and welcoming and offers a variety of Vermont Made Products including maple syrup, pancake mix, jams, honey, cheeses, wood kitchen utensils, crafts, chocolates/fudge, maple candy, furniture, blacksmith items, pottery, jewelry, blown/stained glass, candles and pet supplies as well as other items. Vermont Wild Goods provides to those who enjoy local goods made by farmers, artists, and craftsmen who live in Vermont.
“I’ve always enjoyed my trips there not only because of the beautiful countryside, but because all the products the locals make are so good! I thought, why not bring these items to Connecticut?” says Valles of the store’s purpose. Many of the products featured in the store are the family’s favorites.
