Water Main Work Begins In South Windsor
Water main construction has begun in a section of South Windsor.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — Construction has begun on a new water main in South Windsor. The pipe is on Chapel Road from the intersection of Murielle Drive east to Gail Lane. It's part of a project that will alsp place a new water main on Long Hill Road from the Chapel Road interaction to Burnham Street.
LTC Construction, a contractor for The Metropolitan District, is performing the work, town officials said.
The project is expected to take about three months to complete. During construction, motorists should be parpared for potential traffic delays with the road down to a single lane.
