Woman Accused Of Stealing $25,000 From South Windsor Organization
A woman has been arrested in South Windsor in a theft case involving a local club, police said.

SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A woman has been charged with first-degree larceny in South Windsor in in a theft case involving a local organization, police said.
Police on Thursday arrested Ashley Womack, 33, via a warrant. She was initially held on a $75,000 surety bond and a judge reduced that to $25,000 at an arraignment later in the day, according to judicial system records. She posted the bond and is due back in court on Dec. 9, records show.
Police identified Womack as the president of the South Windsor Moms Club.

The charge stems from an April complaint by a "local club" that Womack had taken money from the organization. The documented losses by the club were more than $25,000, according to a news relase.
