Woman Stole Nearly $250 Worth of Perfume, Phone Accessories: South Windsor Police

The woman was recently arrested on a warrant.

South Windsor police have charged a Manchester woman with shoplifting nearly $250 worth of merchandise from a Buckland Road retail store in May.

Police arrested Nadia Wright, 19, of 138 Eldridge Street in Manchester, on a warrant July 18 and charged her with sixth-degree larceny.

Police said Wright’s charge stems from a May 2015 incident at a Buckland Road retail store. Security officers saw a woman remove $246 of perfume and phone accessories from the store without paying. The woman was later identified by officers as Wright and an arrest warrant was obtained, according to police.
