What city or town do you live in? Woodstock

Party affiliation: Democrat

Education: Graduated UConn in 2022, having majored in Communications and Political Science.

Occupation: I left my job to run full time for State Representative

Family: I’m 24 years old, and am still working on building my family!.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government? Nobody

Previous public office, appointive or elective:

I was an elected member of the UConn Board of Trustees, representing 23,000 undergraduate students.

Age: 24

Why are you seeking this office?

I feel obligated to serve my state with honestly, integrity and respect. I think we need more young, hard working people and government.

What do you believe is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut, and how do you plan to address it?

The cost of living is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut. If elected, I would work within the majority party to bring back resources to this district, crack down on price gouging, and build senior housing to reduce the ever rising costs of housing.

There have been an alarming number of deaths on Connecticut's roadways. Is there anything from a legislative standpoint that can be done to address that?

Support our police in their efforts to enforce our traffic laws. Fund and conduct comprehensive studies on what can be done in rural towns to slow drivers down.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I’ll let my opponent speak on his record and his case. I think the difference between him and I, is that he’s had the opportunity to serve as State Representative for 10 years. Folks might not be able to point to a single legislative accomplishment of his that has meaningfully impacted thier lives. I’m hoping for the opportunity to raise the bar and deliver for the district.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

As a full voting and speaking member of the UConn Board of Trustees, an advocate for folks facing food insecurity, and a leader in my community, I feel confident I can handle the job.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

My campaign slogan is “Expect More”. Expect more from politics, expect more from your government, and yes, expect more from your state representative. It’s okay to expect more.
