WILLINGTON, CT — The initial $50,000 bond for an Ashford teenager accused of threatening to "shoot up" the FedEx depot in Willington was reduced to a promise to appear in Rockville Superior Court late last week, an arrest report indicates.

State police on July 6 charged 19-year-old Victor Izaiah Rodriguez with first-degree threatening involving violent intent that caused an evacuation — a felony — along with second-degree breach of peace, according to a state police arrest report.

At 2:24 p.m. that day, state police went to the FedEx facility at 350 Ruby Road after learning of the threat, according to an arrest report.
