77-Year-Old Facing Indecency Charge After I-84 Truck Stop Incident

WILLINGTON, CT— A 77-year-old man has been charged with public indecency after an incident at a truck stop off Interstate 84., state police said.

The incident took place at 11:45 a.m. at the Travel Centers of America truck stop at 327 Ruby Road in Willington.

State police had been receiving calls that a man who had been exposing himself was standing near the front door of the establishment, according to an arrest report. After arriving at the scene, state police determined that the man had now only exposed himself, but performed a sex act on himself near a set of picnic tables, according to an arrest report.

The man, whose listed address is in Willimantic, was charged with public indecency and second-degree breach of peace, according to an arrest report.
