• Criminal Charge Filed After Mayhem At Johnson Hospital (patch.com) — Stafford residents are learning more about a chaotic January incident at Johnson Memorial Hospital, where a nurse was assaulted during an emergency committal involving a Springfield woman. State police say the woman recently surrendered on a warrant and now faces a charge of assault on a health care worker, after staff struggled to restrain her during treatment.    

• Motorcycle Rider Airlifted To Hospital After Crash In Stafford (patch.com) — A 25-year-old Massachusetts man was seriously injured when his Harley-Davidson crashed on Chestnut Hill Road in Stafford while he tried to avoid a suddenly stopped vehicle. The rider’s injuries were severe enough that he had to be airlifted from Stafford to Hartford Hospital for emergency care.
