State Bond Commission Officially Commits $1 Million-PlusTo Projects In Stafford, Willington

HARTFORD, CT - State Sen. Jeff Gordon Friday was hailing more than $6.5 million in state funding earmarked for key infrastructure and environmental remediation projects across the 35th District after the awards were officially approved.

The approved investments will support critical projects in Stafford and Willington aimed at improving public infrastructure, addressing environmental concerns, and supporting long-term community development.

"This funding represents a significant investment in our communities and will help address important infrastructure and environmental needs throughout the district," Gordon said.

The approved funding includes:

Gordon thanked local officials, state agencies, Governor Lamont, and community advocates who helped move the projects forward and secure approval through the Bond Commission process.

"These projects will improve safety, protect the environment, and create new opportunities for future growth and revitalization in our towns," he said. "I'm proud to have worked alongside our local leaders and community partners to help secure these important investments for the district. These funds will help address long-standing infrastructure and environmental needs while strengthening our communities for years to come."
