WILINGTON, CT — A compact car resembled a pinball in a wild crash on a stretch of highway in Willington last week, state police said.
The crash took place just after 7 a.m. on July 7, state police said.
According to a crash report, a 2014 Chevrolet Cruz with a 20-year-old Hartford woman at the wheel was heading west on Interstate 84 when, she lost control of the car. The Cruz skidded across three lanes and then bounced off a wire rope guardrail near Exit 72, according to a crash report.
The driver was issued a verbal warning for traveling too fast for conditions, according to a crash report.
Neither she nor her 45-year-old female passenger suffered injuries, according to state police.
