ASHFORD, CT — A public works tractor and a car tangled on a road in northeast Connecticut, state police said.
State police recently released a report on the July 7 incident.
A town of Ashford public works tractor was working a brush-cutting detail nothbound on Moon Road, when a 2021 Chevrolet Trax being driven by a 19-year-old Ashford man suddenly side-swiped it, according to a crash report.
The driver of the Chevy then overcorrected and veered across the road and hit a rock on the opposite shoulder, according to a crash report.
No injuries were reported, but the Chevy sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene, according to a crash report.
The DPW tractor had minor damage, according to a crash report.
