STAFFORD, CT — A car door that was open a bit too wide caused another vehicle to hit it in Stafford, state police said.
According to a state police crash report, a 38-year-old Stafford woman was driving a 2015 Jeep Renegade west on Main Street. A 19-year-old then opened the door of his 2026 Subaru Forester that was parked on the westbound shoulder of Main Street, according to a crash report.
The door of the Subaru was sticking out from beyond the white fog line and the Jeep hit it, inflicting "major damage," according to a crash report.
No one was hurt, according to a crash report.
